Reviews
Thriller
"Shipley's contemporary novel is told in a rich and descriptive voice with much wonderful dialogue.
"If you like Shipley's many timely coffee breaks, you'll love this thriller." Russ Long, The Oklahoman
Left for Dead is a real nailbiter
"Pick a cushy spot with a hot cup of coffee, tea or cocoa at your side and prepare to follow Trish LaClede through a thousand twists and turns as she battles to save her late husband's business and unravel the mysteries surrounding his death." Larry Russell, The Wynnewood Gazette
Puyallup WA
"What a good mystery! It’s been a long time since I’ve started a book that I couldn’t put down.
"Left for Dead centers on a close family suddenly plunged into tragedy when the head of the family, Howard LaClede, is killed in a car wreck that was accidental—or was it? His wife, Trish LaClede, vows to avenge her husband’s death, save her husband’s shipping company, and hold her family together while she grieves over the unexpected loss of her husband.
"I loved the story, and forgive the author for her well-crafted surprise ending…I thought I had it figured out!" Janelle Meraz Hooper, Author of A Three-Turtle Summer; As Brown As I Want, The Indianhead Diaries; and Free Pecan Pie and Other Chick Stories

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the two "Trish" books. They are full of family, strength and old fashioned virtues that don’t really go out of fashion – except with many authors and movie makers! I congratulate you on your fine characters – I wish Trish was my next door neighbor.
